INDIA New England News By Siddhi Jain New Delhi– Young Indian classical talent shone through as an online international talent hunt organised in association with the Ministry of Culture announced winners in different Indian classical dance and music forms. The 4-month long talent hunt titled “Sur Taal, Hunar Ka Kamaal” was organised by Kathak exponent Rekha Mehra-led Urvashi Dance and Music Art Cultural Society, supported by ICCR and Sandeep Marwaha’s ICMEI. According to the organisers, in the Junior Kathak category, Virti Gujralis is the winner followed by Anahita Soy and Avantika Alreja as first and second runners-up respectively. In the Senior Kathak category, Svetlana Nigam emerged winner, Prerna Bighamal as first runner-up and Himani Gautam as second runner-up.
