Two dead after crash involving semi-truck on Florida’s Turnpike in Boynton Beach

After a semi-truck crashed into a canal on Florida’s Turnpike in Boynton Beach Thursday morning, two people are dead and a third is injured.
A 66-year-old man was driving a semi-truck southbound on the turnpike near the 84 mile post. Two cars were driving slowly in the stop-and-go traffic, Florida Highway Patrol said. The truck driver didn’t slow down fast enough, colliding with the two other cars.
After the truck driver smashed into the two cars, he drove over the concrete bridge and into the canal where he also partially crashed into a boat and its passengers, according to FHP.
