ARRESTS, CITATIONS
• Ryan M. Hofmeister, 33, of 2976 Illinois Route 104, Franklin, was arrested at 2:29 a.m. Monday on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of adult-use cannabis and cited on a charge of having an obstructed registration plate after the car he was driving was stopped at North East and State streets.
A passenger in his car, Samantha G. Talkington, 30, of 224 S. Pearl St., Palmyra, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance, according to police reports.
• Toney L. Prather, 23, of 650 S. Prairie St. was arrested at 9:06 a.m. Sunday on a domestic battery charge after being accused of hitting someone in the face several times.

• Jennifer E. Barnett, 40, of 852 N. Main St. was arrested at 6:35 p.m. Monday on a domestic battery charge after being accused of punching someone in the face and breaking a television set.
ACCIDENTS
• Harold D. Winters, 80, of White Hall was cited on a charge of improper lane use after the car he was driving and one being driven by Ashley M. Whitaker, 34, of White Hall collided at 2:02 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of East Morton Avenue.
VANDALISM
• A brick was thrown through the windshield of a car between 6 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday while it was parked in the 800 block of South Church Street.

Cool FM has unveiled its brand-new weekend line up with a host of familiar faces and voices added to a refreshed Spring schedule.
It means an early rise for Melissa Riddell, who also blogs about fashion, beauty, and lifestyle on her popular Instagram account, as she takes over the weekend breakfast slot (6-10am). Melissa has been a presenter on Cool FM since 2017 and is the biggest success story to-date of the Cool Academy. She started her time at Cool FM through the ‘Cool Choices’ programme – a scheme designed to offer work experience in the media industry to young people aged 16 to 24 – and after completing a five-week placement, sent in a demo and the rest is history.

• Christopher D. Mead, 47, of 741 N. Main St. was booked into the Morgan County jail at 2:32 a.m. Wednesday on a domestic battery charge.
• Rhonda J. Baker, 53, of 1513 W. Lafayette Ave. was arrested at 9:49 p.m. Tuesday on charges of criminal damage to property and violating a stalking/no-contact order.
• Aubreaunna M. Burries, 20, of 805 Hackett Ave. was arrested at 7:02 p.m. Tuesday on a domestic battery charge after being accused of using an object to hit her boyfriend in the face, causing minor injuries.
• Randy L. Rayes, 54, of 801 S. Kosciusko St. was booked into the Morgan County jail at 3:23 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of violating an order of protection.
