BOZEMAN â Back in November, the Bozeman school board announced they were putting the then superintendent Bob Connors on administrative leave pending a performance review. Then about 2 months later they announced they reached a severance agreement with Connors, but they left out all the details in the middle.
Details starting on October 19, 2020 - MTN News obtained documents from the district which show two administrators accused Connors of verbally assaulting them after a meeting.

BOZEMAN â Bozeman School Board trustees voted unanimously Wednesday night to approve Deputy Superintendent Casey Bertram as interim superintendent for the Bozeman School District s 2021-2022 school year.
Bertram s term will be effective July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022. He had previously been sharing the interim superintendent duties with fellow Deputy Superintendent Marilyn King. The two will continue sharing the role until Bertram s term begins. Iâm humbled and honored and I accept the role, and I appreciate and Iâm really grateful for my executive cabinet colleagues and support of the board of trustees, Bertram said in the Board s virtual meeting Wednesday night.
Flight training at region s airport has recovered from pandemic closures
Bob Connors is the general manager of the Waterloo Wellington Flight Center, which does flight training at the airport. He says training has recovered nicely from pandemic closures last spring, but the job prospects for students remain up in the air.

BOZEMAN â For parents and students in the Bozeman School District, it is now a waiting game to see what the next step will be now that a severance agreement has been reached with Superintendent Bob Connors.
There will be a school board meeting Monday, Jan. 25, but there will not be any discussion about the superintendent role.
On Wednesday, board members voted to approve the severance agreement between the district and Connors.
MTN News caught up with the two current interim superintendents, Casey Bertram and Marilyn King, who have been fulfilling the role.
