Timeless 106.1 KFFB’s General Manager Bob Connell talked with David Deaton Administrator Ozark Health Medical Center, and Lisa Swafford-Drew and Fred Herman with Ozark Health Foundation about the Phone-A-Thon to raise monies for two patient lifts for Ozark Health Nursing and Rehab Center.
The Foundation is hosting a phone-a-thon campaign on Thursday, April 8, 2021. The goal is to raise $10,000 for the purchase of two patient lifts for Ozark Health Nursing and Rehab Center. The lifts are medical devices used to comfortably and safely transfer a resident from one position or location to another. The lifts not only ensure safe transfer for patients but also a safer working environment for employees.
The interview program hosted by Timeless 106.1 KFFB’s General Manager Bob Connell featured Shelby King with CAPCA’s Summer Student Market at 7:50 am and 5:50 pm.
They’ll be Talking about the student markets in Cleburne, Faulkner, and White Counties with food items that will be easier for students to prepare. Students may visit the market and may receive 14 Breakfasts, 14 Lunch, 28 Snacks, and 5 Drink items; food availability is dependent upon donations.

Preston “Peppy” Grace, Jr. passes away on Monday January 16, 2021.
He graduated from Batesville High School and Arkansas College (now Lyon College), and served with the Arkansas National Guard; owned and operated several local businesses; co-founded and served as president/CEO of Independence Federal Bank; served as a Batesville Jaycee and as president of the Batesville Rotary Club; and founded W.R.D. Entertainment, which, at the time, operated a family of four local radio stations.
The company, now known as White River Now, currently operates six radio stations as well as the online local news site, WhiteRiverNow.com.
Bob Connell with Timeless 106.1 KFFB said, “It’s with a sad heart to hear about the passing of Preston, he was a visionary for the broadcast industry and gave me the opportunity early in my broadcasting career, and for that I will always be grateful.”
