Canton American Legion Auxiliary Unit 16 meets Submitted News CANTON A meeting, presided by President Michelle Gorsage, was held by the American Legion Auxiliary April 7. There were 10 members in attendance, including one new member, Rebecca Marvel, who was welcomed. No minutes were read by the Secretary, as she did not attend the previous meeting due to illness. Treasurer Kim Lyons presented the Treasurer’s report, which was reviewed and accepted. Members were nominated and/or elected to be officers of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 16 for this year. Other topics of discussion were the upcoming Poppy Drive; individuals who wish to go to Girls State; honorees who wish to go on the Honor Flight and the upcoming Memorial Day services for this year.
