Dec 16, 2020 Robert “Bob” Zahnd, 84, of Melbourne, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 28th, 2020, in his home under the care of Iowa River Hospice. Funeral services for Bob will take place Friday, December 18th at 10:30 A.M. at Mitchell Family Funeral Home, with Pastor Bobby Shomo officiating. Following the service, Bob will be laid to rest at Melbourne Memorial Garden, with military honors provided by the combined VFW/American Legion Honor Guard of the surrounded area. A visitation will be held Thursday, December 17th at 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Attendees are required to wear masks and follow state guidelines for social gatherings.
