Laredo man arrested for allegedly assaulting girlfriend with pipe

The Laredo Police Department announced on Tuesday that a man was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend with a metal pipe.
Juan Antonio Delgado Jr. was arrested at the 2800 block of Chacota Street on Monday.
The 33-year-old man was charged with Aggravated Assault W/ Deadly Weapon (F/2).
Laredo police said that officers responded to an assault call on Sunday at approximately 6:07 a.m. at the intersection of Chacota Street and S. New York Avenue.
Authorities said that officers arrived and found a female victim with visible injuries including bruising and swelling on her face and neck.
