New Delhi, April 21 : Panasonic India on Wednesday launched a new Spatial Solutions division as part of its strategic expansion for smart home solutions.
Spatial Solutions will operate as a separate division that will combine the expertise of consumer appliances and life solutions to accelerate smart home living solutions including Miraie, Panasonic s Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled connected living platform.
Dinesh Aggarwal will lead the new entity as Joint Managing Director, Panasonic Life Solutions.
Agarwal will directly report to Panasonic CEO Manish Sharma

NEW DELHI: Panasonic India has unveiled its new Spatial Solution Division, a move to expand the company s strong presence in the smart home solutions market. The Japanese electronics giant has also promoted Dinesh Agarwal as the new joint managing director of Panasonic Life Solutions.
In this new role, Agarwal will directly report to Panasonic India and South Asia President and CEO Manish Sharma. At Panasonic, we aim at updating the quality of living spaces with comfort, convenience and seamless connectivity. The formation of Spatial Solutions is a strategic endeavour towards this objective. The Indian arm of Japanese consumer electronics major, Panasonic India, is betting big on Make in India by ensuring that 90 to 100 per cent of each of its products sold in India is locally built. The aim is to double its residential air-conditioning business segment in the next three years, Manish Sharma, President & CEO, Panasonic India & SA said recently on the occasion of the launch of a new range of ACs. Sharma said he expected to see a sales growth of 35 percent from the first half of this year itself. Overall, the AC industry is expected to see a growth of 15-20 percent this summer.

Electronic goods firm Panasonic India today announced the expansion of its Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled connected-living platform Miraie. It launched connected refrigerator, washing machine, Wi-Fi fan, ROMA smart digital switches and smart Wi-Fi controller plugs and switches on the platform.
The new range of Miraie appliances will be available across Panasonic brand shops, large format retail outlets and online platforms from next week onwards.
