YONG PENG: A new integrated vaccination centre (PPV) will open near a tourist attraction here on July 18. Ayer Hitam MP Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong, who is also Transport Minister, said the PPV would be set up at the multi-purpose hall located within the Che Ann Khor Moral Uplifting Society here. The society is also home to a 106.9m-long dragon tunnel dubbed the Prosperity Dragon, which was launched by Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar in 2016. Dr Wee said the PPV would be able to administer 500 doses a day once it started operating, before gradually increasing to 2,000 doses from 8am to 5pm a day.
