The entire House and Senate staff who work at the Pennsylvania Capitol were told they should plan to work from home on Thursday.
“You should not go into the building. All employees in the Capitol Complex are directed to telework tomorrow,” said a memo that was sent out to House Democratic staffers from Paul Parsells, chief of staff to House Democratic Leader Joanna McClinton of Philadelphia.
Gov. Tom Wolf’s spokeswoman Lyndsay Kensinger said the Capitol Complex has been closed to the public due to the pandemic since Dec. 7 and most employees under the governor’s jurisdiction are already working from home.
Welcome, Holly! I’m very pleased to welcome Holly Richardson as the new editor of UtahPolicy.com. She’s already doing a great job and I’m enjoying slowing down a little. I hope Holly will make her mark on the newsletter, shake things up, and take it to the next level. It’s her baby, from here on. However, you won’t be rid of me entirely, because I’ll still write a couple of times a week.
