REDEVELOPMENT work on a historical site in Mold has reached the final stages. Bailey Hill is the site of an early medieval castle established by the Normans in the late 11th Century. And a redevelopment project at the site has seen work, which started in January 2020, on an open air performance area, improved access to the site and redevelopment of the Custodian’s Cottage into a facility for the benefit of the community. Practical completion on the external works and the improvements to the Custodians Cottage has now been reached, described by the Bailey Hill Steering Group as great achievement.
