May 14, 2021 To build confidence among passengers to start travelling safely when international borders re-open, Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) joined a growing list of airlines to trial the IATA Travel Pass app developed by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). The app enables RB guests to securely and conveniently verify that they meet COVID-19 health requirements for their journey. With the app, guests will have digital health credentials which link guests’ test results, proof of vaccination and travel information to their verified identity. The app also pre-validates travellers prior to arrival at airports to make airline and security processes faster. “RB has recently received the highest seven-star rating against COVID-19 by www.airlineratings.com. The introduction of the IATA Travel Pass app further cements our commitment to the health and safety of our guests,” said RB CEO Captain Haji Khalidkhan bin Haji Asmakhan.
