CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The City of Cleveland confirmed Patrol Officer Noel Hernandez resigned on Thursday after being suspected of âproviding law enforcement investigative information to individuals suspected of drug activity and of participating in conduct and behavior not acceptable of a police officer.â
His resignation comes one day before facing his disciplinary hearing before Safety Director Karrie Howard for the multiple allegations of ethics violations and Cleveland Division of Police Manual of Rules violations.

(Cleveland) - Six Cleveland Police officers have been suspended without pay, following an internal investigation into how they handled the use of excessive force by another police officer.
Lieutenant Brian Chetnik, Detective Andrew Hayduk, and Patrol Officers Antonio Muniz, Allen Nagy, Rashawn Rahim, and Darryl Turner, will all serve between 13 to 30 days off the job. All are assigned to the Third District. Their suspensions will be in effect at the start of their next tour of duty.
According letters from Safety Director Karrie Howard, the six were found to have inaccurately have reported the situation in which Officer John Petkac used excessive force in an arrest in 2018, They also improperly used their body cameras, and they failed to intervene. Officer Petkac was fired from the Cleveland Division of Police earlier this month.

CLEVELAND â A fugitive who had been tracked by law enforcement agents from New Mexico to Steelyard Commons was shot by authorities, police say, when he pulled a gun in the parking lot of the busy shopping center.
U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott, Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams, Safety Director Karrie Howard and Euclid Police Chief Scott Meyer were on scene and gave brief statements about the incident, which occurred on Friday afternoon.
