Among them was the new Mercury Grand Marquis. Perhaps it’s unfair to call the Grand Marquis a dinosaur. It was a large, family-sized sedan that was handsome in appearance, large in size, and offered the type of luxury that promised to comfortably cradle the driver and passengers. But by 1978 those attributes weren’t enough. Police Make Arrest in Fatal Hit-and-Run   MIDLAND, TX – A 19-year-old man is behind bars after he was arrested in connection to a fatal hit-and-run on Sunday. The driver of the vehicle, 19-year-old Armando Barba, drove away from the scene of the accident. Barba was arrested at the Airline Mobile Home Park after authorities received a Crime Stoppers tip.
