Allan Padbury Jr., who runs Padbury Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, was elected to a two-year term as president of the Michigan Periodontal Association on Jan. 30, according to a news release. He just completed a two-year term as vice president. Padbury, who has lead his private practice at 306 W. Washington Ave. in Jackson since 2002, said he was honored to lead the organization and support the best interests of dental professionals. Periodontics is a dental specialty that focuses on the structure of teeth and gums and dental implants.
