MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WTWO/WAWV) A Vigo County councilman and his wife were killed Thursday when they were hit by a car involved in a two-car crash in Myrtle Beach.
Donald Morris, 67, and Cheryl Hart, 63, were identified as the pedestrians struck while on the sidewalk when the crash occurred.
“Two children not only lost a father but also a mother in the traffic fatality that occurred Thursday afternoon near the intersection of 67th Avenue North and Kings Highway,” Horry County Deputy Coroner Patty Bellamy said in a statement to the press.

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – The Horry County Coroner’s Office has released the name of the man killed Sunday night in a boat accident along the Intracoastal Waterway.
Horry County Deputy Coroner Patty Bellamy said 28-year-old Corey Parag, of Myrtle Beach, died from injuries he sustained in the accident.
One other person was transported to the hospital.
Authorities announced Monday they made an arrest in connection to the boat accident.

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - One person has died after a boating accident on the Intracoastal Waterway, according to officials.
Horry County Deputy Coroner Patty Bellamy said a 28-year-old man from Myrtle Beach died as a result of the accident.
The name of the victim has not been released.
Horry County Fire Rescue said its crews were dispatched to the area of Watergate Drive in Myrtle Beach at around 8:23 p.m. Sunday in reference to the accident.
