Nine hour standoff in Caribou ends peacefully with one arrest Owen Kingsley © Provided by Bangor WABI-TV Police responding to Caribou incident CARIBOU, Maine (WABI) - A nearly nine hour stand off with police came to a peaceful end with the arrest of a Caribou man early Saturday morning. Police say shortly after 4 p.m. Friday they responded to a home on West Gate Road in Caribou for a report of a man threatening a woman with a firearm while two teenage boys were trying to hold him down. Before officers arrived on scene 46 year old Bobby Arsenault had barricaded himself in the bedroom of the home.

Bangor Police Seek New York Man for Union Street Murder Bangor Police are asking for the public s help locating a New York man, wanted in connection with a murder at a Union Street home. Khalid Harris, 28, of Bronx, New York is charged with murder for the death of 28-year-old Syies Adams of Brooklyn, New York. Bangor Police found Adams body at 1702 Union Street on the night of December 10th, after receiving a report of an injured, unresponsive male. An autopsy revealed that Adams death was a homicide. Harris is considered dangerous, and should not be approached.
