BOXFORD The following is an update from the Boxford Board of Health regarding the COVID-19 vaccine: This is an update from your Board of Health on developments on the status of the COVID-19 vaccine. At this point in time, we have no details when vaccination of Boxford residents will start. The governor’s phased vaccination program has started. We are in Phase 1 of the plan where the vaccine is limited to health care workers, residents of long-term care facilities and first responders, and is administered by hospitals, clinics, CVS, and Walgreens. Phase 2 of the governor’s plan is projected to start in February at the earliest. The order to receive the vaccine in this phase will be individuals with two or more listed medical conditions (comorbidities), certain critical education and other workers, all adults over 65, and individuals with one comorbidity.
