ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan Sunday visited different parts of the federal capital sans protocol, driving the vehicle himself and interacted with some vendors.
The prime minister while visiting different food stalls in G-11 Markaz asked two children standing close to a stall to wear facemask properly. He desired that the younger one should also wear mask who was without it. The three-minute video clip was shared by the Prime Minister Office.
At another stall, a vendor, preparing samosas, appeared excited and remarked, “We are so grateful to you sir jee, you thought about us too”. Motorists are asked to plan ahead over the next two weeks, with parts of the Hawke s Bay Expressway to be closed while undergoing essential maintenance.
The maintenance work will began on Monday and will run through until May 21.
During this period, there will be lane closures from 9am to 3pm.
Eight drown in different parts of Sindh

SUKKUR: Eight people drowned in separate incidents in different parts of Sindh, including Dadu, Nawabshah, Khairpur and Sanghar districts.
In the first tragedy, four people died while trying to save one another. It all started when Rajo Mall fell into the Kakol Wah Regulator (canal) and three including two brothers, jumped one after another, into the canal to rescue each other but they all drowned. The deceased were identified as Ashiq, his brother Mashooq, Maghan and Rajo. Their bodies were recovered from the canal by the local divers.
Simiarly, bodies of Bushra and her daughter Zaibul were recovered from Mirwah Canal near Thari Mirwah in Khairpur on Saturday. The two had drowned in the canal following a motorcycle accident on Thursday.
