Founder of Glorious Word and Power Ministries, Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah, has, in a radio interview with Kwame Nkrumah Tikesie on Okay 101.7 FM on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, asked the general public to treat with contempt a prophetic video about Dr. Bawumia from him in 2015.
Over the weekend, a video of the renowned Man of God declaring the NPP could lose the elections should a non-Christian lead the party went viral.
Dr Bawumai is considered by most political pundits as the key to breaking the 8-year cycle. He is the only prominent non-Christian in the elephant fraternity being widely tipped to succeed President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the NPP’s presidential candidate

By reforming the distribution framework and empowering the consumer, equitable access to energy can be ensured
The process of harnessing, transmitting and distributing energy has multilayered inefficiencies that add to the landed cost of energy to the consumer. These inefficiencies prevent equitable access to energy.
India took a noteworthy stride with the ground-breaking Electricity (Rights of Consumers) Rules issued by the Power Ministry, in December. However, the process of energy democracy and consumer empowerment needs more than legislation. It is about allowing the possibilities of making choices and also about both efficiency and empowerment for communities and consumers. It requires distributed energy resources, reliable smart grids, robust utilities, efficient power markets and enabling regulations.

There’s good news for the great Indian bustard (GIB). The Supreme Court has directed the governments of Gujarat and Rajasthan to lay high voltage power lines underground in the habitats of the bird to aid in its conservation efforts. The bird, found only in India and certain areas of Pakistan, is classified as “critically endangered” by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
Power lines have long been a threat to the GIB and is also one of the prime reasons behind the steep decline in the GIB population in the past decade. Research studies conducted by the Wildlife Institute of India have shown that nearly 18 GIBs die every year because of collision with power lines in the Thar region, Rajasthan.
