A Smyrna man was killed in a single vehicle crash on Wednesday morning. The Tennessee Highway Patrol reports that 28-year-old Simmie A. Berry ran his vehicle off of the Old Nashville Highway, overcorrected and hit a utility pole. The Wednesday accident occurred on the two-lane roadway near the Stones River Battlefield.Troopers say Mr. Berry was partially ejected from the car and was not wearing a safety belt. He died at the scene. .

Now, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) in conjunction with the La Vergne Police Department and the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the trade association for the firearms industry, are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction for those responsible for the theft of firearms from Specialty Arms, a federal firearm licensee (FFL).
