Passengers injured in the trolley wreck on Saturday in St. Augustine have been released from hospitals and are doing fine, St. Augustine Police Department spokesman Officer Dee Brown said Monday.
The wreck happened as a trolley from Old Town Trolley Tours was heading north on Charlotte Street and attempted to take a left on St. Francis Street, according to Brown. It s just a sharp turn on the corner, and the last trolley car overturned, Brown said.
By the time police arrived at the scene, people had already pushed the trolley car upright again, he said.
