Chhattisgarh board declares class 10 results on internal evaluation

The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) on Wednesday declared the class 10 examination results based on the internal assessment of the students as no final test was held amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The overall pass percentage is 100 per cent as all the 4,61,093 eligible students are declared to have passed the exam, officials said. The students who are not satisfied with the allotted marks will be allowed to sit for the exam next year, a senior official said. The results of the CGBSEHigh School Certificate Examination (class 10) were declared by state School Education Minister Premsai Singh Tekam through video conferencing. A total of 4,67,261 students had registered for the class 10 exam. Of them, forms of 6,168 students were rejected for not fulfiling the criteria. The remaining 4,61,093 eligible students, including 2,24,112 boys and 2,31,999 girls, have passed the exam, said VK Goyal, Secretary, CGBSE.

NECO Releases 2020 External Candidates Results, Announces Date for 2021 Exams

Announcing the results at the Council Headquarters in Minna on Thursday, the Registrar/Chief Executive, Godswill Obioma disclosed that a total of 41,459 candidates registered for the examination, out of which 39,503 actually sat. A statement issued by Head, Information and Public Relations Division of NECO, Azeez Sani in Abuja, the registrar explained that a total of 26,277 candidates obained five credits and above including English Language and Mathematics while 34,014 candidates also obtained five credits and above irrespective of English Language and Mathematics.

BSE Odisha fixes modalities for awarding marks to class 10 students

The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has fixed modalities to award marks for Class 10 examinations, cancelled due to the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic. The Annual High School Certificate (HSC), Madhyama and State Open School Certificate examinations which were scheduled to be held from May 3, this year, were cancelled due to COVID-19. The marks for School Regular (SR) and Quasi Regular (QR) students will be given based on their performances at half-yearly and annual examinations of Class 9 and second, third and fourth practice tests of Class 10, the Board said in a notification on Friday. The Board will take into consideration the two highest marks in each subject from the three practice tests conducted in Class 10. School wise merit list shall be prepared after giving appropriate weightage to marks secured and uploaded in above examinations.
