NECO Releases 2020 External Candidates' Results, Announces Date for 2021 Exams

Announcing the results at the Council Headquarters in Minna on Thursday, the Registrar/Chief Executive, Godswill Obioma disclosed that a total of 41,459 candidates registered for the examination, out of which 39,503 actually sat. A statement issued by Head, Information and Public Relations Division of NECO, Azeez Sani in Abuja, the registrar explained that a total of 26,277 candidates obained five credits and above including English Language and Mathematics while 34,014 candidates also obtained five credits and above irrespective of English Language and Mathematics.

It also stated that four supervisors have been blacklisted and would no longer participate in the conduct of NECO examinations for abetting malpractice. Announcing the results at the Council Headquarters in Minna, the Registrar/Chief Executive, Prof. Godswill Obioma said initially, a total of 41,459 candidates registered for the examination, but 39,503 actually sat for it. Obioma explained that a total of 26,277 candidates obtained five credits and above including English Language and Mathematics.

Announcing the results at the Council Headquarters in Minna, Niger State capital, on Thursday, the Registrar/Chief Executive, Prof. Godswill Obioma, disclosed that a total of 41,459 candidates registered for the examination, out of which 39,503 actually sat. The NECO boss explained further that a total of 26,277 candidates obtained five credits and above including, English Language and Mathematics, while 34,014 candidates also obtained five credits and above irrespective of English Language and Mathematics. The Registrar who reiterated the Council’s zero tolerance for examination malpractice, noted that appropriate standards and excellence were maintained right from the planning stage to the release of results.

Teacher's recruitment: Osun govt to conduct oral interview Monday

Daily Post Nigeria Published The Osun State Government will on Monday commence oral interview for qualified applicants in the ongoing Osun Teacher’s Recruitment exercise in the state. The state government through a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Mrs Kehinde Olaniyan, informed that the interview is in two stages at different designated centres in Osogbo. The ministry disclosed that applicants for the senior secondary school recruitment who scored 40% and above with their first degree or NCE will be interviewed between Monday 17th May and Thursday, 3rd June. Olaniyan said other candidates with a maximum qualification of NCE, who scored between 35% and 39%, will be interviewed between Monday, 7th June and Thursday, 24th June.
