Ridgefield residents will be able to attend a COVID-19 Zoom meeting for an update on the town s current status and the start of drive-thru testing in town.
The meeting will take place online at 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 17, and will include updates from the town s task force including scientists, doctors, communications specialists as well as Town Health Director, Ed Briggs, School Superintendent Susie Da Silva, and First Selectman Rudy Marconi.
Dr. Maher Madhoun, infectious disease doctor for Stamford Health will give an update on vaccines.

Ridgefield COVID Update
Ridgefield is currently reporting 9 new cases as of Monday, December 14 at 4 p.m. with ages of cases ranging from under one to 100. The majority of the cases fall in the 40-50 age range.

Webinar on Thursday, Dec. 17
Infectious Disease Doctor Mayer Madhoun and Health Director Ed Briggs will talk about the upcoming vaccines during a town-wide webinar on Thursday, December 17 at 7 p.m. Panelists also include School Superintendent Susie Da Silva, Data Scientist Rick Lawrence and First Selectman Rudy Marconi. The Zoom webinar will also be on the Town website being streamed on the video page but will not be available on Comcast Channel 24.

First Selectman Rudy Marconi announced that there will be a Zoom COVID-19 Task Force webinar on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 7 p.m.

RIDGEFIELD A comprehensive update on COVID-19 in Ridgefield is planned Thursday night, and drive-thru testing remains available weekday mornings outside Yanity gym.
There will be a Zoom COVID-19 Task Force webinar on Thursday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m. All residents are invited to hear the update, which will reflect the latest available information on the status of the disease in Ridgefield, First Selectman Rudy Marconi announced.
As of about 1:40 Monday afternoon, the latest posting on the town’s website had information through Friday, Dec. 11. There had been 19 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, following five new cases on Thursday, Dec. 10.
