(File photo: Pixabay) The RSPCA has charged a Victorian woman with more than 60 animal cruelty offences relating to the alleged mistreatment of dozens of horses and cats on a property east of Ararat. The Ballarat Magistrates Court on Thursday heard a forensic entomologist had found a large number of dead horses on the rural property at Warrak in what appeared to be a mass grave . Christine Weisheit, 64, is accused of failing to provide a group of 82 ponies and horses that were confined in a paddock with proper and sufficient food, and also failing to provide them with appropriate parasite control, dental care and basic husbandry.
