Penn State is a huge campus, especially when it comes to finding the best places to study, relax or hang out with friends. To navigate life on campus, itâs important for students to find a place where they can feel safe and comfortable.
Each student has their own definition of safety relating to their background and gender, but Penn State has a place for all students to feel like they belong, according to student Carlos Norman Jr.
âI feel the safest on campus at the [Paul Robeson Cultural Center] because I feel that it is the most diverse facility on campus,â Norman Jr. (senior-industrial engineering) said. âHaving people from different backgrounds is more welcoming than being in environments where nobody looks like you or can relate to you.â
