offering four multi-media Saturday evening events featuring
Aotearoa’s finest writers of prose, poetry and music once
a month from August.
Launching on Saturday 14 August,
the richly layered new-format offers something for everyone

McCallie Wins First DII-AA State Track Title

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – McCallie’s track team has finished as the state runner-up more times than coach Mike Wood wants to count, but they finally put it all together here at Rockvale High School to win the DII-AA state title for the first time after scoring 164.33 points to beat runner-up Christian Brothers’ 146.
The Blue Tornado got a huge lead several days ago when Michael May won the decathlon and teammates Nicolas Robinson and Eric Rivers finished third and fourth to put McCallie out front with 23 points.
