Over 1.4 million Texans still faced water disruptions on Wednesday afternoon, more than a week after Texas’ winter storms wreaked havoc on the state’s power grid and water services.
More than 20,000 people were completely without running water Wednesday afternoon because of water main breaks, mechanical failures, frozen or broken water lines or other issues, a Texas Commission on Environmental Quality spokesperson said.

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - Luke Frederick (DFL - Mankato) represents District 19B.
He replaces Rep. Jack Considine, who retired last year.
Frederick is currently the vice chair of the Behavioral Health Policy Division Committee.
He also sits on committees related to human services and transportation as well as labor, industry, veterans and military affairs.
He graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

On the first day of the 2021 legislative session, Rep. Luke Frederick, who won the seat that was previously held by the retiring Jack Considine, was sworn in to begin his first term in the Minnesota House of Representatives.
“I am honored to serve the people of District 19B in the Minnesota House of Representatives. I look forward to working with my legislative colleagues to respond to the many challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. We will work together to help our people and economy recover.”
