On November 4, the clinical trials for validating the Electrical Quantitative Sensory Testing (EQST) system for
Failed Back Surgery Syndrome started in the Multidisciplinary Pain Management Unit at the Ramón y Cajal University Hospital (Madrid). Neuropathic pain is assessed in those patients with lower back and/or lower limb pain, who have undergone lumbar surgery, and who are candidates for treatment by means of spinal cord electrical stimulation therapy.
