Chelsea Corner, aged 24, from Hereford, has only been a qualified lash technician for two years. A change of career path before the Covid-19 pandemic saw Miss Corner pursue a career in beauty. I started two years ago and in my first year I was just building up clients and then lockdown happened, she said. So getting this has been a massive pick me up. I have always worked with children and was working on the children s ward at Hereford County Hospital previously. I fancied a different change of career path and the beauty world was completely new to me. I was having a bit of a rubbish time so fancied a new career and new home, I wanted everything fresh.

A Welwyn Garden City face-painting business and a Hatfield beauty business have been honoured at two top awards ceremonies.
Mum-of-two and Welwyn Garden City John Lewis employee Rachel Baverstock has been running her face painting business called Paint Party by Rachel for just over two years.
In that time she has painted the face of The Only Way is Essex star Saffron Lempriere at a birthday party event on the ITV reality drama. But her success does not end there and she has now become a finalist for ‘Best Party Supplier , an award run by the local business, Little Ankle Biters Herts.
