When asked if he would be attending, Bolt told DancehallMag that “due to the restrictions no fans are allowed so I will not be in attendance, but I will be at home watching and cheering for team Jamaica.” Japanese government officials announced yesterday that the games will be held without fans due to a rise in COVID-19 infections in the city, according to USATODAY.  Originally, 10,000 Japanese fans were permitted to attend the events.
