An extensively modified 1987 Saab 900 is looking for a new home and is perfectly suited to the drag strip.
While the Saab 900 is a pretty cool car in its own right, the previous owner of this example decided to turn it into a drag racer, slotting in a 5.0-liter V8 that’s been supercharged and also features an Edelbrock Performer intake. The engine is supported by an MSD distributor, Accel electronic ignition, an upgraded aluminum radiator and is coupled to a five-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels. The Saab also features upgraded front suspension, a Ford 9-inch rear differential, and ladder bar rear suspension to effectively transit all the power to the pavement.

Granted, you’d also have to shrink the body along with the pricing expectations. 12 photos
