A baby is in critical condition after being pulled from a pool at a home in Burlington Sunday afternoon.
Halton Regional Police said they responded to reports of a drowning in a pool at 1:48 p.m.

“Police and paramedics were quickly on scene,” Halton Regional Police said in a press release. “Lifesaving measures were performed. The child was transported to hospital where they remain in critical condition.”
CP24 reported that the child is a one-year-old girl.

Police investigating after shots fired in Burlington Sunday afternoon

BURLINGTON, N.C. Burlington police are searching for more information following a shooting Sunday afternoon, according to investigators.
According to Alamance County Crime Stoppers, police responded to a report of shots fired on Morningside Drive just before 2 p.m. Sunday.
During investigation, it was found multiple people were involved in an exchange of gunfire, according to county officials.
