TWIN FALLS â Initially discussed back in November, the College of Southern Idaho (CSI) reached out to Chobani to discuss the need for new laptops for their students. Since both organizations have a long-standing relationship, Chobani decided to donate 50 laptops valued at $25,000.
The refurbished laptops are going towards the school s student loaner program. Now, students taking hybrid or online courses will have an increased opportunity to borrow the device.
Chobani and CSI have been partners since 2012, so it was a natural fit when the university asked for help.

I mean right from March when we all met originally and said we just need to do this and we had no money, but it didn t matter, Tammy Davis, Executive Director of Crisis Hotline Idaho, said.

MAGIC VALLEY, Idaho â For her protection, the asylum seeker in this story will be referred to as FNC.
Thanks to students at the University of Idaho, a woman from Guatemala seeking refuge in the United States was able to reunite with her children after years of separation. One of our priorities from the start was to get her out of detention. She had been in detention for about a year and a half. She had been separated from her family for that entire time. And to all of us, that seemed like a grave injustice, Geoff Heeren, Director of the Immigration Clinic at the University of Idaho, said.
