A motorist narrowly escaped 100 days in prison yesterday after he came up with the remainder of a fine imposed by the District “A” Traffic Court.
And while Rique Alleyne remains without his driver’s licence for the next six months, he has been advised to familiarise himself with the Road Traffic Regulations and the Highway Code.
Alleyne, of Bird’s River No. 1, Deacons, St Michael, was back in court after he was found guilty, last month, of driving at 170 kilometres on the Barrow Section of the ABC Highway and failing to produce his driver’s licence on November 23, 2020.
