Speaking of which, Shilpa’s younger sister Shamita took to her Instagram handle to wish her all the good wishes for the same. Sharing a picture of the poster, Shamita penned an emotional note which read, ‘All d best my darling Munki for the release of ur film Hungama after 14 years ❤️I know Uve put in a lot of effort into this one.. the entire team has !’

Hungama 2 stars Ashutosh Rana as the patriarch of a brood that includes son Aakash (Meezaan Jaffri), Paresh Rawal as Tiwari, a deeply suspicious husband, and Shilpa Shetty as Anjali, his svelte, younger wife. Tiwari’s belief that Anjali is cheating on him is eclipsed by the arrival of Aakash’s old girlfriend Vaani (Pranitha Subhash). She has a baby girl with her, and she claims that Aakash is the father.

With her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, mired in a case of allegedly peddling p rnography, Shilpa Shetty put up a brave face and made a fervent pitch for her film, ‘Hungama 2’. Clearly, she doesn’t want the controversy to singe the film’s prospects.
Shetty took to Instagram to urge netizens to watch the film, which was released digitally on Friday. She said ‘Hungama 2’ was the outcome of the “relentless efforts of an entire team” and that the film “shouldn’t suffer”.
