Forget Cancel Culture … Dr Seuss Enjoyed By Holy Name Students | Big Horn Mountain Radio Network

Posted On 0 likes 2 min While Dr. Seuss is being banned by the Cancel Culture in many places across the nation, his books are being enjoyed by students at Holy Name Catholic School in Sheridan. Last week students at that school and its students celebrated Dr. Seuss week. To celebrate students read works by Dr. Seuss.  Students also competed in green eggs and ham relay races among other Seuss-style activities.  On Thursday students were encouraged to dress up as their favorite book character.  Dr. Seuss week is a fun week full of activities to celebrate reading. At Holy Name Catholic School, students are challenged to be the best they can be in academics, the arts, sports and in showing other’s respect.  Students learn teamwork by observing interactions between teachers and through project-based learning.  The best part is that all of this is accomplished in a loving family-like environment where the teachings of Jesus Christ and prayer are integral parts of daily educa

ESCANABA Holy Name High School will officially be opening this fall with a new official name. The high school’s official name will be Holy Name High School–A Chesterton Academy. Holy Name Catholic School Principal Joe Carlson explained some of the benefits of joining the network of Chesterton Schools a natiionwide network of high schools. “Joining the Chesterton Schools Network will afford our students many exciting opportunities to build community with other faithful young adults through pilgrimages, mission trips, and the March for Life in Washington, D.C. The network is a well-oiled machine with a proven track record of academic success,” Carlson said.
