While Dr. Seuss is being banned by the Cancel Culture in many places across the nation, his books are being enjoyed by students at Holy Name Catholic School in Sheridan.
Last week students at that school and its students celebrated Dr. Seuss week.
To celebrate students read works by Dr. Seuss. Students also competed in green eggs and ham relay races among other Seuss-style activities. On Thursday students were encouraged to dress up as their favorite book character. Dr. Seuss week is a fun week full of activities to celebrate reading.
At Holy Name Catholic School, students are challenged to be the best they can be in academics, the arts, sports and in showing other’s respect.
