Twirling Candy, sire of Rombauer, at Lane s End
Becoming the fifth Grade 1 winner by his sire Twirling Candy, Rombauer rocked the racing world back on its heels with a 3 ½-length victory in the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Md., on Saturday.

The gelded son of Avenue of Flags (by Seattle Slew) earned $1.2 million making an exhibition of speed, won the Breeders Cup Turf Sprint, and set a course record at Santa Anita for 6 ½ furlongs.

The village’s newest business is Kate’s Candles, which is located at 49 Railroad St. in the former Gift Box location. Kate Burnsworth is the owner.
Although her shop is new, she has been making and selling candles out of her home for about six years. She says because of an accident she could no longer work in her prior career and, “I got bored and decided I needed a hobby.”
Her new shop gives her enough space so she can make the candles there. She uses 100 percent soy wax and makes both scented and unscented candles, “because some people are allergic to scents.”
First launched in China alongside the HONOR V40, the brand is now gearing up to release the
HONOR MagicBook 15 2021 in Malaysia later this month. The laptop is essentially an upgrade to the 2020 model through the inclusion of the 11th Gen Intel Core processor and the support for Wi-Fi 6.

In terms of physical build and design, the MagicBook 15 2021 carries an aluminium chassis with a thickness of 16.9mm. The 1.56kg laptop also offers thin bezels on the three sides of its Full HD IPS screen that allows it to have an 87% screen-to-body ratio.
