A man will appear in court accused of allegedly sexually assaulting woman in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
Police launched an investigation after reports a woman had allegedly been sexually assaulted in a carpark on Cross Street in Double Bay last Sunday.
Following extensive inquiries, detectives attended an apartment in Parramatta in Sydney s west on Wednesday night.

A 37-year-old man was arrested and taken to Parramatta Police Station, where he charged with aggravated sexual assault – deprive liberty.
He was refused bail and will in appear Parramatta Local Court on Thursday.

Cops have seized luxury vehicles worth more than $500,000 and charged four men with fraud after dismantling an alleged criminal syndicate.
The gang is alleged to have fraudulently purchased six luxury vehicles across Sydney, each valued at more than $80,000.
Detectives, who established Strike Force Celti as part of their investigations, were also alerted to information the group allegedly fraudulently acquired personal loans and mobile phones.
Officers executed eight search warrants at properties across the Harbour City at about 6am on Wednesday.

Four men have been charged after police dismantled a crime syndicate that allegedly bought $500,000 worth of luxury cars with stolen credit cards before on-selling them at a lower price.
The crime syndicate is accused of fraudulently obtaining six luxury cars each valued at more than $80,000.

During the police investigation, detectives also received information relating to the fraudulent acquisition of personal loans and mobile phones.

Detectives are investigating whether two of five stabbings in Sydneyâs west overnight are linked, leaving one man in a critical but stable condition following an alleged fight after a party.
NSW Police said a 25-year-old man was found on Waikanda Crescent, Whalan, with multiple stab wounds to his torso at about 12.45am on Sunday.

Witnesses have told police he was involved in an altercation with several others following a party at a nearby home. A broken glass bottle was seized for forensic examination. The man was taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical but stable condition.
