Rochester restaurateurs Mike Currie and Jerry Zubay, Henry Wellington, and Broadstreet Café owners, are now on-call consultants for Walt Disney World in Florida. They are assisting the famous destination to improve its food service operations. Anyone interested in raising money for saving wildlife habitats will soon have an option to buy a special state nature license plate for an additional $30. Funds raised through sale of specialized plates will go to the Reinvest in Minnesota Critical Habitat Program.

A Northwest Airlines jet carrying 54 passengers and a crew of six was hijacked to Cuba on a flight originating in the Twin Cities. The entire Northwest crew of six were Minnesotans. In the earliest days of the coronavirus pandemic in the U.S., it was clear that restaurants would be dramatically affected by the social distancing and lifestyle changes necessary to slow the spread of the virus as dining rooms were ordered shut in many states, including Virginia.
