After earning a scholarship offer at Iowa s camp in June, Class of 2023 offensive lineman Dylan Senda returned to campus on Sunday to visit for the Hawkeye Tailgater. For the 6-foot-5, 274-pound Michigan native, it was a good opportunity learn more about the Iowa football program. It was awesome, said Senda. It started out with an awesome brunch with all of the coaches. Then we toured the facilities and learned more about the Iowa football program and we had a question and answer period with several current players, which was great.
Senda also had a chance to spend time with the Iowa coaching staff, including offensive line coach George Barnett and head coach Kirk Ferentz.
Offensive lineman Landen Livingston was able to finally make his official visit with the Iowa Hawkeyes this weekend. We caught up with the 6-foot-5, 285-pound Indiana native to talk about the trip, which was his fifth and final official visit of the recruiting process, when he plans to make a decision, and much more.
Q: First, can you just tell us a little bit about the Iowa visit and what stood out to you?
LIVINGSTON: The visit went really well. Obviously Iowa has been a school that s been in contact with me for a long time, so to finally go out there and meet the coaching staff and to have meaningful conversations in person with them was unbelievable. I really enjoyed getting to see the campus because I haven t been out there ever in my life, so getting to experience campus and check out the facilities and the stadium was unbelievable. It was all very nice and I was very impressed. Also, meeting with the academic people for breakfast was great because obviously education is very
