The Twin Cedars Girls Track and Field Squad finished 8th at the class 1A State Qualifying Meet on Thursday. She finished 2nd in the 3000, 3rd in the 1500, and 2nd in the 800. The Melcher-Dallas Track and Field Squads ran for spots at the state meet at Madrid on Thursday. On the track, J’Lyn Knutson, who has been battling a hip injury, gutted out 3rd place in the 3000 and will see if her time is good enough for an at-large spot at the State Meet. She finished a disappointing 7th in the 1500.
