Kerala Travel Mart (KTM), the popular B2B tourism meet in the country, has invited domestic and foreign buyers to interact with 700 sellers across the world during its five-day virtual event next month in a bid to stimulate the sector in the post-Covid scenario in the state.
Buyers, media, visitors can register online for the virtual meet of the 11th edition of KTM to be held from 1 March. The event, which will showcase the excellence and alluring products of the sector, seeks to give a huge impetus to recovery of tourism from the throes of the pandemic that has considerably dulled the sector for a year now but now in a rebound mode, a KTM release said.

Beaches restaurant at Portland International Airport is closing on March 31 for a five-year-long remodel project in the airport’s main terminal, but the popular restaurant might not return.
Owner Mark Matthias only said he “may go out there again,” after the remodeling is due to end in 2023. There could be an opportunity for a bid to bring back Beaches at PDX, he said.
J&K Tourism participates in ITM, Ahmadabad
Ahemdabad,February 01 (Scoop News)- Gearing up its promotional programmes outside JK, the J&K Tourism department participated in the 3-day India Travel Mart (ITM) held from 29 January- 31 January here.
Pahalgam Development Authority CEO Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani, Dy Director Tourism Publicity Jammu Anil Kumar Chandail represented the J&K Tourism in the travel show and interacted with the travel and tour operators, media persons from Gujarat and various other State tourism boards.
The focus during this ITM was to bring stakeholders together to promote domestic tourism in a unique style while also following COVID-19 protocols.
