PARIS: For French retiree Jean-Michel Sibois, travelling will no longer be the same in the age of Covid-19. He is now among legions who have bought motorhomes to escape in their own travel bubbles. You don t imagine travelling as before, on an airplane heading to a faraway destination, said Sibois, who recently spent 50,000 euros ($61,000) on his leisure vehicle. We really wanted to be a little less confined, a little bit more at peace, he said, citing health and environmental concerns with traditional travel.

IPOH, May 3 Pasir Pinji assemblyman Howard Lee today urged the federal and Perak governments to make Covid-19 testing mandatory for tour operators before any journey within the travel bubble.
Lee said that the government should be responsible and make this a policy to safeguard the public from Covid-19.

Travel-starved residents of Hong Kong and Singapore will have to wait a little bit longer to go on their first quarantine-free vacation since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. The highly anticipated Air Travel Bubble between the two cities was originally slated for November, but a fourth wave of the virus in Hong Kong put an immediate halt to the scheme less than a day before it was due to begin. Both Singaporeâs Transport Minister Ong Ye Kung and Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam had previously said a revised date for the launch would be made public âsoon,â and all indications were that both sides were preparing to make an announcement today, with the Air Travel Bubble due to start in the middle of next month. But B
