KEY ACTION A contract with GT Environment for consulting services was approved. The contract is for the County Solid Waste District.
“That is to operate our solid waste division, Commissioner Denny Bittle said. We went privatized as we did the drop-off services, which again we are expecting that (drop-off) to begin the second week of June. This is a company that we have worked with for a number of years to do our solid waste work.”
Pump House update
OTHER ACTION Commissioners accepted a proposal from Jezerinac Geers & Associates Structural Engineering to determine the floor load capacity at the Pump House. The cost is not to exceed $3,500.

Chillicothe s Pump House Center for the Arts is doing this month s show differently.in two ways.
The public art gallery in Yoctangee Park is hosting the People s Choice Photography Show in May. Pump House director John Payne explains that they are selling votes for $1 each, which will then be tabulated and awards given in the second reception Thursday, May 20th. (The tickets will help pay for the ribbons.)
The 53 prints of all kinds will be on display until May 29th.

Death of stray dog: Cops book Metro labourer in Andheri
The dog was killed after a metal sheet fell on him during the metro work on the Western Express Highway
Mumbai: Andheri Police have booked a 27-year-old labourer for the death of a stray dog who was allegedly killed after a metal sheet fell on him during the metro work on the Western Express Highway.
Police said that the incident occurred on May 5 and the dog succumbed to the injuries soon after he was rushed to the Parel Animal Hospital. While police are investigating the matter, no arrests have been made.
