Patna, May 25 : Amid the coronavirus pandemic, poster politics kicked off in Bihar on Monday with black and white posters slamming Chief Minister Nitish Kumar found pasted at several key locations in Patna. How long will the people of Bihar pay for the inefficiency of Nitish Babu (Nitish Kumar), read the posters pasted at several places including the Veerchand Patel Path where the main officers of the ruling Janata Dal-United and the Bharatiya Janata Party, as well as the opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal, the Communist Party of India, and others are located.

Patna, May 19 : A day after Rajiv Pratap Rudy, the BJP MP from Saran held a media conference in Delhi, the Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) claimed that it (the presser) was his confession pertaining to ambulance theft. The Bihar government should register an FIR and arrest him.
Raju Danveer, the president of the JAP state youth wing said: Rajiv Pratap Rudy admits that the ambulances were kept in the office in the absence of the drivers after JAP president Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav raided Rudy s Amnaur office in Saran district. Now, after 11 days, Rudy came out with another explanation that the ambulances did not have fitness certificates. Both the statements are contradictory. He is misleading the authorities and the people of Bihar, Danveer said.

Ranjit Ranjan, wife of imprisoned former MP from Madhepura and president of the Jan Adhikar Party (Loktantrik) Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav, has said that her husband’s fight for common people and to help COVID-19 patients in all possible manner would continue and if he is not released from jail within two days she “would sit on a fast-unto-death”.

The strongman of Siwan, former RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) MP Mohammad Shahabuddin, who was serving a life sentence for murder in Delhi’s Tihar jail, succumbed to Covid in a Delhi hospital on May 1, nine days short of his 54th birthday. No sooner than the news broke, a silent yet determined move was discernible in the state to claim the support of the minority cohorts that swore by the Bihar bahubali.
Though Bihar, like many other states, is under complete lockdown in an attempt to rein in a brutal second wave of the disease, politicians, cutting across party lines, have made their way to Siwan’s Pratappur village to commiserate with Shahabuddin’s son Osama Saheb, who is being groomed to inherit his father’s mantle.
