With Maryborough setting the first Guinness World Record for the most people out on pub crawl in June 2005 a new tradition was born, but after 12 years, last drinks was called on the local Pub Crawl.
Lining the streets and visiting heritage hotels, participants would spend days choosing their outfits and planning for the day.
After stopping in 2017, the Pub Crawl was followed the next year by a renamed event, the Pub Fest, then renamed again as Echoes Music Festival, in 2019 â where the last festivities have been seen.
Maryboroughâs Pub Crawl Founder Nancy Bates said it was a âfantasticâ event, bringing an irreplaceable atmosphere across Maryborough.

JOLIET, IL One of the most popular places in Joliet to get a corned beef and cabbage dinner on St. Patrick s Day is Thayer Bros Deli on Ruby Street. It s open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
For drinks, O Charley s Irish Pub on North Center Street is another long-time tradition on St. Paddy s Day for Joliet area revelers. O Charley s will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Mike Perfetti and Delaware Branding Co. in Milford have canceled plans for a Haunted St. Patrick’s Day stroll in the alley next to his Milford tattoo store.
In a post on the Delaware Branding Co. Facebook page, Perfetti said the event had been used to pit his business against Downtown Milford Inc., where his wife, Cat Perfetti, is the acting executive director.
DMI usually hosts the St. Patrick’s Day pub crawl in Milford. When it was canceled because of COVID-19 restrictions, Perfetti was spurred to create the idea of the haunted alley.
“DMI has canceled its events, more specifically the Pub Crawl, due to restrictions that we at DBC don’t have,” Perfetti wrote on the company webpage. “What we had planned was basically trick or treating.”
Leprechaun Leap Pub Crawl is Set for Downtown Cheyenne
Downtown Cheyenne Presents: Leprechaun Leap Pub Crawl on Saturday, March 20th. Wristbands for the event are available from Freedom s Edge Brewing s website.
The event kicks will kick off at 3 p.m. on March 20th, that s the weekend after St. Patrick s Day, which will be here before you know it. It all starts at Freedom s Edge in Cheyenne where you check-in and pick up your armband.
